I've been on Elfabrio for about six months now, and it's been a game-changer in managing my Fabry disease. The infusions every two weeks can be a hassle, but knowing that the enzyme replacement is working to break down the fatty substances in my cells makes it worth it. I've noticed a significant improvement in my kidney function and overall energy levels. However, I did experience some infusion reactions initially, like fever and chills, but my doctor adjusted the infusion rate and it's been much better since. I'm curious to hear from others who have been on Elfabrio—what has your experience been like? Any tips for managing side effects or making the infusions more comfortable?

I'm new to all this, just diagnosed with Fabry. Any suggestions for making these infusions easier to handle?

I had a pretty bad reaction to my first infusion—severe headache and nausea. The doctor had to stop the infusion and gave me some meds to help. The second time was better, but I'm still nervous. Has anyone else had this issue?

Definitely talk to your doctor about pre-medicating before the infusion. I take some antihistamines and Tylenol beforehand, and it's made a big difference for me.

Elfabrio has been a lifesaver for me. Before, I was constantly tired and in pain. Now, I have energy and I can actually enjoy life again.

I've been on Elfabrio for a few years now, and while it's not a cure, it has definitely improved my quality of life. I get some minor side effects like a headache and upset stomach, but nothing I can't handle. My advice is to stay hydrated and take it easy for the rest of the day after the infusion.

I wish insurance covered more of the cost. It's a lot of money for something I have to do every two weeks.

I was really nervous about the infusions at first, but the nursing staff at the clinic is amazing. They make it as comfortable as possible and keep an eye on you the whole time. It's not the best part of my day, but it's doable.
