I've been on Emt(ftc)200mg/rpv25mg/tdf300mg Tab for a few months now to treat my HIV-1 infection. It's convenient to take just once a day with a meal, but I've had some side effects that I didn't expect. Has anyone else been experiencing strange dreams? I wake up feeling exhausted and it's affecting my daily life. Also, anyone dealing with unusual sensations like tingling or pain in the arms and legs? How are you managing these side effects? I'm considering talking to my doctor to see if there are any alternatives, but I want to hear from others who've been through this. What are you doing to manage these side effects?

I'm on the same meds, and the muscle pain is what I experience most. My doctor suggested some exercises to help with it, and it actually works. Also, try to stay hydrated as it helps with the side effects for me.

I've noticed some changes in my mood and a bit of depression. I was worried at first, but my doctor said it's a known side effect and we're managing it through therapy. It's been a lot to handle, but staying in touch with my support system has helped.

I've been on this med for a year and the first few months were rough. I had vivid dreams and some muscle pain, but it's gotten better. Stick with it, your body just needs time to adjust.

I'm new to this med, so I'm keeping an eye out for any side effects. I'm just glad I don't have to take it more than once a day. That's a relief.

I've heard that lactic acidosis is a serious side effect. Has anyone experienced anything like that?

I’ve been on these meds for a while and honestly, the worst part for me is the fatigue. It’s like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. I’m constantly tired, but it’s worth it to keep the virus in check.
