I've been on Orfadin 10mg Capsules for about a year now, and I wanted to share my experience with anyone else who might be navigating this rare disease. Hereditary Tyrosinemia Type 1 (HT-1) has been a challenge, but Orfadin has been a game-changer. The special diet is tough, but it's manageable with the right support. I've had some side effects, but nothing too severe. Just a reminder, always consult your doctor if you have concerns. If you're on Orfadin or considering it, I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences!

I'm so glad you shared this! I've been on Orfadin for a few months, and the diet is killing me! Any tips on meal plans?

Great to hear that Orfadin is helping! I had some really bad side effects when I first started, especially the redness, irritation, on the palms and soles. My doctor adjusted the dose and it got better. Keep an eye on that and consult your doc if it persists.

Sounds intense. The constant monitoring must be exhausting. Stay strong!

I've been on it for about 2 years now and the biggest challenge is trying to get the diet right. My nutritionist has been incredibly helpful. Be sure to find a good one too - it’s a game changer.

I've had the worst reaction when I ate too much of something I shouldn't have. Check those labels and consult with your nutritionist.

It's definitely a lot, but the support from the HT-1 community has been amazing. There's this great forum where we all share tips and encouragement. It's made a world of difference. Do you have any support groups or forums you recommend ?

I've been dealing with HT-1 for a while and have found that keeping a detailed food diary has helped immensely. It's a lot of work, but it makes sticking to the diet so much easier. Try it out—it could be a lifesaver!

Remember, everyone is different. What works for one person might not for another. Stay in close contact with your medical team and trust your instincts. You know your body best!

I had no idea about this drug until now. This is fascinating but also really scary. How do you cope with the mental aspect of it all?
