I was recently prescribed Orenitram 5mg Tablets for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). This medication is designed to reduce the pressure in my lungs by relaxing the blood vessels. This allows for easier blood flow and reduces the strain on my heart. I've noticed that it helps with my shortness of breath and improves my ability to exercise, but I've also experienced some side effects. Like many medications, Orenitram can cause a range of side effects from mild to severe. The medication guide lists a number of urgent side effects that require immediate medical attention. These include signs of an allergic reaction, bleeding, severe dizziness or fainting, shortness of breath, significant weight gain, swelling, worsening breathing difficulties, and signs of low potassium levels. Other possible side effects include dizziness, headache, flushing, jaw pain, diarrhea, stomach pain, and pain in the arms or legs. On the plus side, there is one side effect that is normal and harmless: you may notice the tablet shell in your stool. I'm glad I'm taking this medication, but I've noticed a few side effects myself. I've been getting some headaches and muscle cramps, but nothing I can't handle. I'm just glad I can breathe a little easier now.

Has anyone gotten the rash or skin problems from this medication? I'm super worried about this side effect.

I'm really struggling with the dizziness. It's like I'm walking around like a zombie. Has anyone found a way to deal with this? I've heard some people urinate in a can so that they don't have to move very much. I could try something like that. I'd rather not get off the couch.

I'm not sure I can deal with the side effects. I've tried other medications and the side effects are too much to bear. I'll talk to my doctor anyway.

I've been noticing some pretty severe headaches since starting Orenitram. Anyone else deal with this? It's gotten to the point where I'm considering switching medications. Please suggest some alternatives if you know any.
