I've been diagnosed with pheochromocytoma and started taking Demser 250mg Capsules (Metyrosine) a few months ago. This medication has been a game-changer in managing my symptoms, especially the high blood pressure. However, I've experienced some side effects that I wasn't expecting, like drowsiness and diarrhea. I'm curious to hear from others who are on this medication. How have you managed the side effects? Any tips or tricks? Also, has anyone else noticed a significant improvement in their symptoms? I'm eager to connect with others going through the same thing.

It's amazing how much better I feel since starting this medication. My blood pressure is finally under control, and I have more energy. The side effects are worth it for me.

I wish my doctor had warned me about the potential for kidney stones. I ended up in the ER with a terrible back pain. Lesson learned, definitely pay attention to any unusual symptoms.

I've had some mood swings and anxiety, which is new for me. I didn't realize Metyrosine could cause that. Does anyone else have any experience with this?

Seriously, the hallucinations are the worst. I thought I was losing it. My doctor said it's a rare side effect, but it's still super scary.

I've been on Metyrosine for about a year now. The side effects were tough at first, but they did ease up after a while. Stick with it; it gets better. As for the drowsiness, I found that drinking lots of water and avoiding caffeine helped a lot.

I've been on Demser for a few months and haven't had any major side effects. Just some mild drowsiness. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

The diarrhea was really tough at first, but it's getting better. Just make sure to stay hydrated and eat easily digestible foods. Also, consider a fiber supplement, it helps a lot.

I had to stop taking Demser because of the allergic reaction. It started with a rash and then escalated quickly. I'm hoping there's an alternative treatment out there for me.
