I've been struggling with eczema for a while now, and my doctor recently prescribed Locoid 0.1% Lotion. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the rare but serious ones. Has anyone else tried this? How did it work for you? Any tips on how to use it safely?

Anyone know if it's safe to use on the face? My dermatologist mentioned something about it being risky for that.

I've used Locoid for a couple of years now. It's been a lifesaver for my eczema. The key is to use it sparingly and only on the affected areas. Make sure to wash your hands after applying it. It's saved me from so many flare-ups. I just make sure to keep an eye out for any changes in my skin.

I've been using it for about a month now and it's been great. Definitely notice a reduction in redness and itching. Just be careful not to overuse it. My doctor told me the main side effects to keep an eye on are skin thinning and infections. So far so good.

I think the burning or stinging is pretty common when you first start using it, but it goes away after a few days. Just keep an eye on it, it was just dryness for me.

I’ve had no issues with it at all. Saw a huge improvement in my dermatitis. Just remember to apply a thin layer twice a day. Make sure you talk to your doctor if you have any concerns, though. My doc suggested tapering off usage after a while.

I've heard some scary stuff about the side effects. Especially the high blood sugar and adrenal gland issues. Is that stuff just rare or is it really that serious?

I've been using it for a year now and I've seen no side effects. It's been great for my eczema. Just make sure to follow the instructions closely. Less is more with this stuff. Use it sparingly.

I used it on my daughter's eczema. It worked like a charm. Just remember to avoid applying it to sensitive areas like the face and groin. I noticed some skin irritation when I tried it on the groin once.

I had a really bad reaction to it. I ended up with some pretty severe skin thinning and it took forever to go away. I switched to a different steroid cream and it’s worked much better for me. Be really careful with this stuff.
