Loestrin 1.5/30 Tablets 21: My Experience and Concerns – Anybody Else on This Pill?
I've been on Loestrin 1.5/30 Tablets 21 for about six months now, and I've had a mixed experience. The pill works well for preventing pregnancy and has regulated my periods, but I've also had some side effects that are really concerning me. I've experienced a lot of mood swings, which is something I've never had an issue with before. I've also noticed some weight gain, which isn't something I expected. I've read about the potential side effects, but I'm not sure if what I'm experiencing is normal or if I should talk to my doctor. Anybody else on this pill who can share their experiences? I'd love to hear some advice or just know I'm not alone in this. Thanks!

I've been on Loestrin for about a year now, and I haven't experienced any major side effects. I've had a bit of spotting here and there, but nothing too bad. I also noticed some breast tenderness at first, but it went away after a few months. I think everyone's experience is different, so it's important to keep track of your symptoms and talk to your doctor if something really bothers you.
My girlfriend was on this and it was terrible. She changed to a Prescription progesterone-only pill and is much better.
I've noticed some people have problems with this one. Can you change to a pill with a lower dose of estrogen? You could also try the non hormonal version of the pill.
I've been on many pills and Loestrin is by far the worst. I had no idea until after. I think I'm going back to the old pill I used, it was simpler.
I've been on Loestrin for a while and I've had similar experiences with mood swings. It's tough, but my doctor reassured me it's normal for some people. Maybe talk to yours? Keep an eye on any weird symptoms, though, like the list in the op.
I really don’t know what to think. I am getting more concerned with all these stories about side effects. The doctor did tell me that all pills have side effects.
