I've been prescribed Gloperba 0.6mg/5ml Oral Solution for my gout and FMF. I've heard it can be effective, but I'm worried about the side effects, especially the severe ones. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'd love to hear about your journeys, the good and the bad. Did you find that the benefits outweighed the risks? Any tips for managing side effects would be greatly appreciated. Also, how does it compare to other treatments you've tried?

I had to stop taking Gloperba because I kept getting bruises for no reason. My doctor said it was because of low blood cell counts. It was scary, and I'm glad I stopped taking it when I did. But I also do not know if it was directly related to the meds

Does anyone know if you can take this with other pain meds? Like ibuprofen or something? I'm looking to manage the gout pain while getting used to Gloperba.

I had a family member who had issues with their kidney while using Gloperba. The doctor had to stop the medication right away. It was scary, but they got better. I'm not sure if it was directly due to the medication, but you might want to keep an eye on that. Do you know how long to recovery? I know this is bad to ask but I am a bit concerned.

I had a bad experience with Gloperba. I got severe muscle pain and weakness. It was so bad that I couldn't even walk. My doctor said it was a side effect of the medication and told me to stop taking it immediately. I haven't tried any other medications yet, but I'm scared to.
