I've been using Loprox 0.77% Cream for a fungal infection and so far, it seems to be working. However, I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects listed on the package. Has anyone else experienced any of the severe side effects like rash, hives, or trouble breathing? I know these are rare, but it's always better to be informed. Also, for those who have used it, how long did it take for your infection to clear up? I just want to make sure I'm using it correctly and for the right amount of time. I'm finding that the cream is hard to apply, I usually lie down in the bath just to make sure it goes on all the right places.

I had a bad reaction to it. I got hives and my skin started to blister. I had to stop using it and go to the doctor. Not worth the risk for me.

I think it's important to remember that these side effects are rare. I've used Loprox a few times and never had any issues. Just follow the instructions and you should be fine. The directions say to apply it 2x a day but my doc said it was safe to apply 3x a day, just depends on your area of infection

I am surprised at the number of side effects listed. Maybe I will just use some vinegar, I heard that helps with fungal infections. What do you think?

I've used it for ringworm and had no problems at all. Just be sure to wash your hands after applying it, too. Also, the smell is a little funky, if you're sensitive to that, maybe keep some air freshener around

I used Loprox for athlete's foot and didn't have any major issues. Just some mild itching at first, but it went away quickly. It took about 2 weeks for the infection to clear up completely. Just make sure to apply it as directed and keep the area clean and dry.

I've heard that some people have issues with severe side effects but I think it's a little overblown. Or else it might not be a fungal infection you are treating. Just stick with it and it will work!
