Loprox 0.77% Gel 30gm: My Experience with Ciclopirox Gel for Athlete's Foot
I've been dealing with a persistent case of athlete's foot for the past few months, and my doctor prescribed Loprox 0.77% Gel. I've been using it for a week now, and I wanted to share my experience and hear from others who might have used this antifungal gel. The gel has a strong smell, which I wasn’t expecting. I find that the smell gets stronger as it sits on the skin for a bit. I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this and if it fades over time.
I've also been a bit concerned about the potential side effects, especially the skin irritation mentioned in the prescription info. Luckily, I haven’t had any severe reactions yet, but I’m keeping a close eye on it.
Has anyone else had any issues with this gel? How long did it take to see results? I'm hoping to hear some success stories or tips for using this medication effectively.
I've also reached out to my doctor with a few questions, so if any other tips come up, I might share them, too.

Can anyone recommend a good moisturizer to use alongside Loprox to combat the dryness? I'm finding my skin super dry.
I've been using Loprox for ringworm and it's been a game-changer. No side effects and it cleared up in no time. Plus, the smell isn't that bad for me.
Be careful with the skin irritation. I got some redness and itching at first, but it went away after a few days. Just stick with it!
Never had any problems with Loprox myself, but I heard it can sting a bit if you have any open sores. Keep that in mind!
