I recently started using Lotrisone Cream to treat athlete's foot. It's been effective in helping clear up the infection, but I've had quite a few side effects. I want to share my story and see if anyone else has had similar experiences. The burning sensation and skin tingling were manageable at first, but now I'm concerned about the thin skin around the affected area. Did I use it too long (8 weeks) ? The doctor prescribed it for 4 weeks. Anyone else have side effects that worried you? Is this normal? Before I go back to the doctor, I'd appreciate any insights, tips, or similar experiences from fellow users.

I've had some really bad reactions to Lotrisone and I'm glad I found this thread. I was going to start using it for my ringworm, but now I'm not so sure. It's crazy how many different side effects people have had. I'm going to talk to my doctor about it before I start using it. Thanks for sharing your experiences, everyone!

I can't believe how many people have had reactions to that stuff. The burning and tingling are so annoying!

I used Lotrisone for jock itch and it worked great. I didn't experience any serious side effects, but I did notice some skin thinning. I stopped using it after 2 weeks and the thinning went away. But I used it for 2 months for my second round of ringworm and the itching was severe. But I was also able to use it without any issues the second time around. Maybe you are just sensitive to it? But good luck to you and hope you feel better soon...

I was prescribed Lotrisone for a severe case of athlete's foot. It cleared it up quickly, but I experienced some burning and skin tingling. It was worth it because it cleared up after I stopped using it; but I was afraid that I had caused some permanent damage.

I got Lotrisone from my doctor because I had athlete's foot for two months. I just wiped it on and went on about my day. It took about 3 weeks, but it worked. It didn't burn too badly, but the tingling was annoying as heck. Based on the side effects you experienced, it may be best to visit the doctor to see if it's worth continuing.
