I've had some weird tingling sensations, like pins and needles, but I haven't had any of the really serious side effects. I hope to never see any of those.
I had some serious muscle cramps at first. My doctor recommended magnesium supplements, and that helped a lot. Also, regular stretching seemed to make a big difference.
I've been on Miglustat for about a year now, and while the dizziness was rough at first, it eventually went away. I found that taking it with food really helped with the stomach issues. Staying hydrated was key too. Give it some time, but definitely talk to your doctor if it gets worse.
Miglustat has been a game-changer for me, but it's been rough on my digestive system. I've had to cut back on dairy and sugary stuff to keep the stomach issues under control. Definitely worth the trade-off for me, though. P.S. Have you tried ginger tea to help with the nausea?
I’ve been on Miglustat for about a year and haven’t experienced any of the serious side effects mentioned, thankfully. I'm very cautious, and I always check with my doctor if I notice anything odd. Also, I've found it really helps to have a daily routine to manage the fatigue.
Anyone else feel like they're gaining weight? I've had some crazy bloating, and the weight loss was a joke. I'm trying to figure out if it’s the meds or just my body being weird. It’s making me feel a bit self-conscious.
This medication is a blessing and a curse. I've had to deal with a lot of fatigue, but I think it’s better than the alternative. My doctor recommended some lifestyle changes which helped a lot.
I can’t believe how much this medication has improved my symptoms. I know it sounds cliché, but the trade-off is worth it. If it weren’t for the side effects, I’d be singing its praises to the whole world!
Seriously, though, anyone else feel like they're going to collapse from all the muscle cramps? I've taken to wearing compression socks and using a heating pad at night. It’s a small comfort, but it helps a ton.
