I've seen a lot of discussion about Marinol in various forums but wanted to hear from those who have actually used Marinol 2.5mg capsules. I'm looking to understand the side effects, particularly the more serious ones, and how people have managed them. I'm also curious about how effective it has been for those with severe nausea from chemo or weight loss due to AIDS. If you've taken Marinol, I'd love to hear your story!

Just wanted to chime in and say that Mariol may have some mental effects associated with using the medication. For me it has been a constant urinary tract infection. Every time I go to the doctor they say I don't have any signs of infection, but I am still having pain and burning.

I've been on Marinol for a while now, and it's been a game-changer for my appetite. I went from barely eating anything to gaining a few pounds, which has been a relief. The euphoria can be a bit weird at first, but it's not too bad. Make sure to talk to your doctor about how to manage it.

I'm on Marinol and have had no problems. I was worried about the side effects, but I haven't experienced any of the serious ones. Just a bit of dizziness, but it's not bad. My appetite has improved, and I feel a bit more balanced overall.

I've heard Marinol can cause memory problems. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm worried about forgetting things, as I've been on it for about a month now.
