I recently started using Maxalt (Rizatriptan) 10mg tablets for my migraines, and while it has been helpful in managing the pain, I was taken aback by some of the potential side effects. The urgent side effects listed are quite alarming, and I'm curious if anyone else has experienced any of these. How has your experience been with this medication? Are there any alternative medicines people have tried that are really worth it?

Maxalt works for me, but I'm always scared of the long-lasting vision loss stuff. I'm not going to lie, I've had some short periods of blurry vision, but nothing serious. For some of us, it's worth it to know that our migraine can be beaten. I've tried other migraine medicines and Maxalt is the only thing for me.

I had a really bad experience with Maxalt. I started feeling a tightness in my chest and throat, and it was terrifying. Turns out it was an allergic reaction. I had to go to the ER and now I can't use it anymore. It's frustrating because it was the only thing that worked for my migraines.

I experienced severe stomach pain and vomiting after taking Maxalt. It was horrible. I had to stop taking it immediately.

I've had some mild side effects like dizziness and fatigue, but nothing too bad. I think it's worth it to deal with these side effects if it means I can get relief from my migraines.
