I've been struggling with migraines for years, and my doctor recently prescribed Maxalt-Mlt 10mg Od Tablets (Rizatriptan) to help manage the pain and other symptoms. I've heard mixed reviews about this medication, so I wanted to share my experience and gather more information from others who have used it. How effective has this drug been for you? What side effects have you experienced? I'm particularly interested in hearing about any long-term effects or strategies for managing side effects. Has anyone found that it makes their migraines worse? I've had a few instances where I felt like the medication wasn't helping at all. Also, are there any alternative medications or treatments that you would recommend? Let's discuss our experiences and help each other navigate this challenging condition.

I've been using Maxalt-Mlt for a while now, and while it does help with the migraines, I've had some issues with it making me feel jittery and anxious. It's like a constant state of restlessness. I've been trying to manage it by taking deep breaths and staying hydrated, but it's still a bit disconcerting. My doctor said it could be due to the way the medication affects serotonin levels in the brain. Anyone else experience something similar?

I've had a few scary moments with Maxalt-Mlt. I had a migraine a few weeks ago and took the medication as usual. A few minutes later, I started experiencing severe chest pain and shortness of breath. I thought I was having a heart attack. It turned out to be a panic attack, but it was still terrifying. I'm going to talk to my doctor about finding an alternative medication. I'm just glad I didn't drive after taking it. I was so weak after the panic attack.

This medication has been a game-changer for me. I used to suffer from debilitating migraines that left me bedridden for days. Since starting Maxalt-Mlt, the pain has been significantly reduced, and the nausea and sensitivity to light are almost entirely gone. However, I've experienced some dizziness and a bit of stomach upset, but it's a small price to pay for the relief it provides. I take it as soon as I feel the onset of a migraine, and it usually kicks in within an hour.

I've been on Maxalt-Mlt for a few months now, and while it does help with the pain, I've noticed some concerning side effects. I've had a few episodes of abnormal sensations, like numbness and tingling in my fingers and toes. It's a bit scary, to be honest, but my doctor says it's not uncommon. I'm just hoping it doesn't get worse. I've also experienced some fatigue and dizziness, but nothing serious. I'm just glad to have something that can help with the migraines.

I've had some serious side effects too. I ended up in the ER with severe chest pain and shortness of breath after taking it. Turns out it can cause heart problems in some people. Be careful out there, folks.

I've had the same experience. It works well for me, but I wish there was something that could prevent the migraines in the first place.

Did you try taking it with food? Sometimes that helps with nausea.

I wish I could say it worked for me. I took it a few times and felt like it made my migraines worse. I didn't have any serious side effects, but the medication just didn't help with the pain. The worst part was feeling nauseous and dizzy after taking it. Has anyone else experienced this? I ended up switching to a different medication that works better for me.

I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't experience any side effects. Guess I'm lucky?

Have any of you tried using a migraine cap? It's supposed to help with the pain and reduce the need for medication. I'm thinking of giving it a shot.
