Meclizine 50mg Tablets: My Experience with Motion Sickness and Vertigo Relief (and some anxiety relief too)
I've recently started taking Meclizine 50mg Tablets for vertigo and motion sickness issues. I've heard that Meclizine is an antihistamine that works by affecting certain areas of the brain that control balance and nausea. However, I was wondering if anyone else has used this medication for similar reasons and what their experience has been. I've been taking it for a few weeks now and have noticed significant relief from my symptoms, but I'm curious about the long-term effects and any potential side effects that I should be aware of. I've read that some people experience feeling sleepy, dry mouth, headache, fatigue, or even throwing up, but I am also aware that I must watch out for any signs of a severe allergic reaction. Has anyone else had any unusual or unexpected side effects from this medication?

If you're experiencing any severe side effects, it's crucial to contact your doctor immediately. For less severe symptoms, you can can report the effects to the FDA online. Do not try to handle this one yourself if it gets bad. I learned that the hard way.
I had a really bad allergic reaction to Meclizine. I started feeling extremely weak, and I had a really bad rash all over my body. I had to go to the ER and it was terrifying. I couldn't breathe and I had no idea what was happening. I had to stop taking it immediately and I would never take it again.
I was prescribed Meclizine for vertigo and it has been a lifesaver. I have Meniere's disease and this medication has helped me tremendously. I haven't experienced any major side effects, just a bit of drowsiness, but nothing I can't handle. I would definitely recommend it to anyone dealing with vertigo or motion sickness. I would still be cautious if I were you though. It's good to be cautious when taking any medication, especially if youre worried about any particular side effects.
I think you should stop using it if you're having breathing issues. I had a friend who had an allergic reaction to Meclizine and it was scary. Just be careful.
