I've been struggling with sleep issues due to shift work, and my doctor recommended trying melatonin 3mg tablets. I've been taking them consistently for about a month, and I've noticed a significant improvement in my ability to fall asleep faster. However, I did experience some mild side effects like a headache and joint pain, but they went away after a few days. I'm curious to know if anyone else has had similar experiences or if there are any tips for managing these side effects. Also, are there any long-term concerns with taking melatonin regularly?

I've heard that taking melatonin can mess with your natural sleep cycle if you take it for too long. Has anyone had any long-term issues with melatonin?

Melatonin is my go-to for shift work. I take it before my night shifts and it helps me get to sleep much faster.

Melatonin helped me a lot when I was having trouble sleeping due to stress. I think it's worth trying if you're having trouble sleeping, but it's definitely not a long-term solution. I also find that taking a warm bath before bed helps to relax me.

I've been taking melatonin for a while now and I haven't had any issues. I think the key is to take it consistently at the same time every night. I always have a cup of herbal tea and a good book ready before bed. Make yourself a routine.

I've never had any problems with melatonin and my sleep pattern is perfect, I don't see any side effects. I think it's worth trying if you're having trouble sleeping. I also find that taking a warm bath before bed helps to relax me.

I was shocked by how well melatonin worked for my jet lag. I took it on my last trip and slept like a baby. I didn't have any side effects, but I'm going to consult with my doctor before I travel again. I heard the FDA recommends being cautious with melatonin and has a list of side effects.
