Memantine ER 14mg Capsules are a commonly prescribed medication for treating moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease. The drug works by affecting certain chemicals in the brain that are involved in memory and learning, potentially helping to improve memory, awareness, and the ability to perform daily activities. While it can have significant benefits, it also comes with a range of side effects that can vary from mild to severe. I've been on Memantine for a couple of months now, and I've experienced some dizziness and headaches, but nothing too severe. How has everyone else found it? Have you had any major issues and how have you coped? Also I'm curious to hear if anyone has managed to get a better version of the drug since the side effects are quite concerning.

I've been on Memantine for about a year now, and I've found that taking it with food helps a lot with the dizziness. Also, staying hydrated seems to help with the constipation. Just a couple of tips that have worked for me.

I wish I knew more about other versions of the drug. I've literally been googling for days and can't find any solid information. Can anyone help?

I started my mom on Memantine a few months ago, and at first, she seemed to improve a bit. But then she started having some really bad constipation. I tried increasing her fiber intake, but it wasn't helping. Our doctor suggested switching to a different brand, and that seems to have helped a bit, but it's still a struggle.

I've had a pretty good experience with Memantine. I take the 14mg capsules and haven't had any major side effects. I did have some mild dizziness at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

I've been taking Memantine for a while and I've had no issues whatsoever. I actually think it's helped my symptoms a lot. I was told it might get worse before it does get better, but I haven't seen any of the bad stuff yet.

I've heard that some people have had really bad skin reactions to this drug. Has anyone else experienced that?
