I recently started using Menopur 75 Unit Inj, 1 Vial to help with fertility issues. The medication is supposed to stimulate my ovaries to produce eggs, which is great, but I've been experiencing some concerning side effects. I've had some mild allergic reactions like itching and redness at the injection site, but I'm also feeling a bit of stomach discomfort and breast pain. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I'm worried about the more serious side effects like ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) or blood clots. I've been taking it under the skin as prescribed, but I'm not sure if I should be doing something differently. I've also heard it can be used for men to help with sperm production, but I'm not sure if the side effects are similar. If anyone has more information or can share their experiences, I'd really appreciate it.

How do you guys handle the emotional rollercoaster of fertility treatments? It’s tough enough without the side effects!

I'm a bit skeptical about Menopur. I mean, it's a powerful drug with serious side effects. If you’re having any issues, maybe consider switching to a different medication?

I'm just glad there are options out there, but the side effects are no joke. Stay strong and keep in touch with your doctor.

I’ve heard horror stories about OHSS. It’s scary stuff. Definitely be cautious and watch for any signs.

You're not alone! I had similar side effects, but my doctor switched me to a different protocol and it helped. Just communicate openly with your healthcare provider.

I had a friend who used Menopur and she ended up with OHSS. It was scary, so definitely be vigilant about the symptoms. Make sure your doctor knows about any unusual side effects right away.

I used Menopur for a while and didn't have any major issues. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully and don't hesitate to reach out to your doctor if something feels off.

I've been on Menopur for a few cycles now, and while I've had some stomach pain, nothing too severe. Just make sure to monitor your symptoms closely and stay in touch with your doctor. Good luck!

Seriously, the injection sites can be a pain. I found that using ice helped reduce the swelling and redness. Hope that helps!

I don’t know much about the male counterpart, but I’ll bet the side effects for men are similar to what you’d expect from most hormone treatments.
