I've been taking Metaglip 5mg/500mg Tablets for a few months now to manage my type 2 diabetes. Overall, it's been helpful in controlling my blood sugar levels, but I've experienced some side effects that have me a bit concerned. I've read about the potential for severe side effects, and I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences or if there are any tips for managing the more common issues like stomach upsets and headaches. I've also had a few questions about the potential for lactic acidosis and how to recognize the signs. Any insights or similar stories would be greatly appreciated!

Side effects can be rough, but Metaglip has been a game-changer for my blood sugar control. Stick it out if you can, but definitely talk to your doctor if it gets unbearable.

I haven't had any major issues with Metaglip. Just occasional dizziness, but it goes away quickly. Maybe it's worth sticking with it if the benefits outweigh the side effects?

Lactic acidosis is serious stuff. If you start feeling super weak or have persistent stomach issues, get to a doctor ASAP. Better safe than sorry!

I switched to a different medication because of the stomach issues. It was just too much to handle. Maybe talk to your doctor about adjusting the dose or switching meds?
