I was prescribed Metaxalone 800mg Tablets for severe muscle spasms and discomfort. I found it very effective for relieving pain. However, I experienced some side effects, such as dizziness and drowsiness, which made it difficult to drive or operate heavy machinery. I had to be careful not to take it before bedtime as it made me groggy the next morning. I'm curious to know if anyone else had similar experiences or if anyone has tried other muscle relaxants and found them to be more effective with fewer side effects. Also, it's important to note that this medication can cause severe side effects in rare cases, so it's crucial to be aware of the signs and seek medical help if necessary. I'd like to hear from others who have taken this medication and their thoughts on it.

I was prescribed Metaxalone a few years ago for severe back spasms, and it worked wonders for me. I didn't experience any severe side effects, but I did feel a bit drowsy. I found that taking it at night helped with that, and I would wake up feeling much better.

I had a bad reaction to Metaxalone. After taking it for a few days, I started experiencing fever, chills, and a sore throat. I went to the ER, and they told me I had a severe reaction to the medication and to never take it again. It's scary how different people can react so differently to the same medication.

What's the difference between Metaxalone and other muscle relaxants? I was given a choice between this and Cyclobenzaprine, and I'm not sure which one is better. I've heard that Cyclobenzaprine has some bad side effects with increased heart rate and dry mouth.

I was prescribed Metaxalone for muscle spasms due to a pinched nerve. The medication was effective in relieving my pain, but the drowsiness made it difficult to function. I would take it at night and would sleep through the night, but the next day I would need to take my time getting out of bed. It was a small price to pay for the relief I got. If you're unsure at all, reach out to a medical professional!

Thanks for sharing, everyone. I'm glad to hear that some of you found relief. I've been taking Metaxalone for a few weeks now, and while it helps with the pain, I'm also dealing with some pretty bad headaches. Has anyone else experienced this?

I find the side effects of Metaxalone to be very manageable if you are careful. Just remember to take it carefully as you should with any medication and it will do the trick. I found bedtime to be the best time of day for me to take it.

Metaxalone knocked me out hard! If you're using this medication for the first time, be careful. I had to take the first dose during the weekend when I didn't have any plans. I've tried cyclobenzaprine in the past, and while it worked, I had to stop after a while due to the increased heart rate and feeling of extreme dry mouth.

I've been taking Metaxalone for a while now, and I've noticed that if I drink a lot of water and take it with food, the stomach issues it gives me are much more manageable. It's also important to talk to your doctor about any other medications you are taking to make sure there are no negative interactions.

Metaxalone and Cyclobenzaprine both work similarly, but they can have different side effects. Metaxalone can cause drowsiness and dizziness, while Cyclobenzaprine can cause dry mouth, increased heart rate, and blurred vision. It really depends on what side effects you can tolerate better. Always talk to your doctor if you have any questions.
