I've recently been prescribed Methscopolamine Br 2.5mg Tablets for my irritable bowel syndrome. My doctor assured me it's going to help slow things down and reduce the acid, but I've seen some scary lists of side effects. You folks had any experience with this? What's your take?

I've been using these pills for a while now and haven't had any major problems. They've helped with the stomach pain and ulcers. My only side effects are a little dizziness and some minor head pain, which I think might be worth it.

Definitely a double-edged sword. I had to deal with some pretty nasty constipation and stomach pain, but the good thing is the stomach acid is reduced and I feel less bloated.

Anyone know if these pills interfere with other meds? I'm on a few others, and I don't want any unwanted surprises.

Honestly, I wish I'd never touched these. I had some really bad constipation, and it got so serious that I ended up in the ER. It's scary stuff, folks

My doctor told me never to drive or use machinery after taking these because of dizziness side effects. It's also important to avoid alcohol! But I do like how they calm my stomach down.

I think the biggest issue is the dry mouth. I just keep a bunch of mints and breath strips around and it's not that bad.

I've had a lot of trouble with side effects from this and other medications. I think it's worth a shot but keep a close eye on any symptoms. My wife was on a similar medication and had some fast heartbeats. Make sure you get it checked out.

I'd be careful with these. The inability to sweat can lead to heatstroke. I know someone who had a bad reaction to a similar drug and ended up with severe dehydration. I'd keep that in mind and monitor any heat-related issues

I've been on these for a while now. They've helped a lot with the spasms, but I've had some weird side effects like feeling jittery and having a dry mouth. Definitely keep a water bottle handy!
