I've been using Methyl Salicylate Oil for my back pain, and it's been a godsend. However, I've noticed some redness and irritation on my skin after prolonged use. Has anyone else experienced similar side effects? I've read that it can cause severe allergic reactions, but I'm not sure if what I'm experiencing falls into that category. Any advice?

The redness and irritation are probably just minor side effects. Try using a smaller amount of the oil to see if that helps. If not, you might want to consult your doctor.

I swear by this stuff. I've used it for years and never had an issue. Just make sure you don't put too much on at one time.

I noticed that applying the oil right after a long, hot shower helps, but everyone's skin reacts differently. Keep a watchful eye.

If you're getting redness and irritation, it might be worth speaking to a dermatologist to see if you're having an allergic reaction to it.

I switched to a different topical pain reliever because of the potential for severe allergic reactions. Better safe than sorry, right?

I've used it for years and never had any issues. But I make sure to apply it exactly as the instructions to avoid irritation.

I think you need to change the product. There are many alternatives out there that might work better for you.

I've had bad allergic reactions to topical pain relievers before, so I avoid Methyl Salicylate Oil like the plague. But for some people, it's worth it.
