My friend was on this and had severe allergic reactions. Scary stuff, definitely be cautious.
Metoclopramide helped my mom with her gastroparesis but she had some issues with depression and anxiety, so she stopped taking it.
I hope this medication gets better reviews. I am diagnosed with gastroparesis and I am afraid to try this med.
I've been lucky and haven't had any side effects, just hoping it stays that way. Fingers crossed for everyone else too!
I was worried about the neuroleptic malignant syndrome and serotonin syndrome but haven't experienced anything like that. Still, I'm glad I'm aware of the symptoms.
Be careful with this stuff. I ended up in the ER with severe dizziness and changes in vision. Turns out it was a side effect of the meds.
I've been on Metoclopramide for a while now, and it's been a lifesaver for my nausea. No major side effects here, just a bit of drowsiness.
