Metoprolol HCT 100/50mg Tablets: Side Effects & Experiences
I was recently prescribed Metoprolol HCT 100/50mg Tablets for high blood pressure and I'm a bit concerned about the potential side effects. Has anyone else taken this medication? What was your experience like? I'm particularly worried about the more serious side effects like kidney problems or vision changes. Did anyone else have these issues? I've been on this medication for a year now, and I haven't experienced any serious side effects. The worst for me is the fatigue, but it went away after a few weeks. Hang in there!
I've been on this medication for a few years now, and the only side effect I've had is the occasional headache. But honestly, I'd rather deal with a headache than a stroke. It's a small price to pay.
My neighbor is on this as well, and they said it helps with maintaining a good quality of life. They've had some trouble with kidney problems though, so maybe you should get regular checkups for that.
I had to stop taking it because of the mood swings. It was awful. I wish my doctor had warned me about that. I’d never even had depression before, but it was brutal.
