I was recently prescribed Metoprolol Tartrate 37.5mg Tablets for high blood pressure and angina. The medication has been effective in lowering my blood pressure, but I've experienced some side effects like dizziness and fatigue. I'm curious about other people's experiences with this medication. I've read about some severe side effects, but my doctor assured me these are rare. Have any of you experienced anything unusual or concerning while taking Metoprolol Tartrate?

I feel like I'm the only one who didn't experience any side effects. Knock on wood, but it's been smooth sailing for me.

I switched to Metoprolol from another beta-blocker and it was a game-changer. No more shortness of breath and my blood pressure is finally under control. Just be careful with exercise, you need to take it slower.

I’m curious about the long-term effects of Metoprolol. Has anyone been on it for more than a year?

I’ve been on Metoprolol for a while now, and I can’t believe how well it works. The side effects are minimal for me—just a bit of dizziness sometimes. But I’ve also heard some horror stories, so it’s definitely something to keep an eye on.

I've been on Metoprolol for years and it's been a lifesaver. I did experience some initial dizziness, but it went away after a few weeks. Make sure to stay hydrated and avoid sudden changes in position to help with the dizziness.

I've been taking Metoprolol for a few weeks now, and my blood pressure has stabilized. The side effects are manageable—I just make sure to rest when I feel dizzy. I'd rather deal with some dizziness than risk a heart attack.

I’m surprised no one mentioned weight gain. I’ve put on quite a bit since starting this medication. Has anyone else experienced this?
