I was recently prescribed Metron/nacl 500mg Pb Inj, 100ml to treat a serious infection. I was given a detailed breakdown of the possible side effects by my doctor but was still curious about what other people have to say about their experiences. It was an intense experience because of all the possible side effects, but my infection was cleared up in less than a week, so I consider it a success. I personally experienced some stomach upset and a metallic taste in my mouth, but nothing too severe. I had to stop taking it because of severe stomach pain. My doctor switched me to another antibiotic, and I felt much better.
I had a terrible experience with Metronidazole. I experienced severe allergic reactions and had to stop the treatment immediately. It was scary, but I'm glad I caught it in time.
Metronidazole saved my life, just be cautious, I do remember the metallic taste being the most bothersome side effect
Seemed to work fine for me, but I hated the IV. I much prefer pills.
I had some discomfort in my veins after use. Is this normal?
I had some trouble sleeping and experienced dizziness, but it got better after a few days. Maybe it was just my body adjusting to the medication.

I had some weird sensations in my mouth and throat but nothing serious. Just be careful and listen to your body.
