Meyela 0.35mg Tablets: How Strictly Should I Take My Birth Control?
I've been prescribed Meleya 0.35mg Tablets for birth control, and I'm a bit overwhelmed by the instructions. I must take it at the exact same time every single day to be effective. Is this really non-negotiable? I'm not great with strict routines. Has anyone struggled with this? I'm not sure I can keep it up for the long-haul. What happens if I miss a dose? Ugh. I know exactly what you mean. I've been there. I've had a few issues with some other birth control pills, so I'm a bit nervous about switching to Meleya. It sucks I can't just take it whenever I remember. Can anyone tell me if it's actually common to experience a lot of side effects while taking this?
In my experience with it, the side effects were manageable. I had some spotting between cycles, and my breasts were a bit tender, but everything else was fine. I was really anxious about it, but it worked out in the end.
I skipped a day on accident And waited a week before calling my doctor. No pregnancy for me.
I wish I would have stuck with Meleya. I had a lot of issues with spotting which I thought was bleeding. I was worried, so I changed to a different brand. I found I was much more anxious about spotting than there was risk. Meleya seemed to work fine though.
Y'all, this is a hassle. I tried this exact pill and missed a day and felt like a failure. So I wasn't even going to bother. I hated the pressure. I switched to a different brand that's supposed to be a little more flexible.
I had a friend who swore by this pill. She was a little freaked by the side effects so looked them up, but ended up not experiencing any. The FDA reports some issues, but it’s mostly just weight gain and stuff that’s temporary. She’s been on it for a while now and loves it.
