I was recently prescribed Miacalcin 200/ml Inj 2ml to manage my Paget's disease. As someone who has never taken injections before, I have a lot of questions. What are the first thing I need to know about the injection process and can I take it at home? Can someone share their experience with this drug? What did you notice in the first few days after taking it? Additionally, what should I do to monitor my calcium levels while on this medication? I'm a little anxious about the severe side effects listed, I admit. Has anyone had any experience with these?

I've been on Miacalcin for a while now. The first few injections were a bit tough, but I got the hang of it. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully and maybe have someone help you the first few times. I usually administer it at home; it's less stressful that way.

I had muscle cramps initially, but they went away after a week. It's been manageable since then, and the benefits have outweighed the side effects for me. Keep checking in with your doc regularly, though, even if you feel fine.

Very insightful info. Thanks for sharing, everyone. I hope I can adjust as well as you all have.

I've been on it for a few months. It's not been easy, but it’s helped with my bone pain. Just be sure to talk to your doctor about any concerns. I felt a bit dizzy the first time but it passed quickly.

Ugh, injections are the worst. Fingers crossed it's worth it!

Interesting—I've heard Miacalcin can be a bit harsh on the stomach. Anyone else experience this?
