I'm on my fourth day of Micafungin and so far, so good. No major side effects, just a bit of anxiety and trouble sleeping. Hoping it stays this way!
Did anyone else have trouble with the injection site? I've noticed some redness and pain, but my doctor says it's normal. Just wanted to check if anyone else experienced this.
Be aware of electrolyte imbalances too. I had some muscle cramps and confusion, and it turns out my electrolytes were way off. Had to adjust my diet and supplements, but it helped a lot. Always keep an eye on your body's response to this medicine.
Micafungin saved my life. I had a severe yeast infection that was spreading rapidly. The side effects were tough, but they were worth it. If you have to take this, hang in there; it's tough but manageable.
