I was recently prescribed Miconazole 2% Vaginal Cream for a yeast infection and I have to say, it's been a bit of a journey. The cream has helped with the itching and burning, but I've experienced some vaginal irritation that's been a bit uncomfortable. I'm curious if anyone else has had this issue or knows any tips to make the application process more comfortable. Also, I've read about some serious side effects, but thankfully haven't experienced any of those. Has anyone had a really bad reaction to this cream? What did you do? Any advice would be super helpful!

I was so surprised to find out I had an allergic reaction to Miconazole. It was the worst experience and I thought I was just dealing with normal side effects. If anyone experiences severe symptoms like I did, definitely seek medical attention right away. The doctors rushed me to the ER when I mentioned the reaction.

I wish I'd known to apply it before bed. That would have been a game-changer. I had to apply it at night before bed because it didn't work well if I had to go to work. Even if the cream works well, the idea of putting it on before bed makes it easier, especially because it seems stronger than I expected.

I've used Miconazole before and it worked wonders for me. Just make sure you apply it at bedtime so it can work overnight. And definitely talk to your doctor if you're experiencing irritation—I had that at first but my doctor recommended using a lubed condom to protect sensitive skin.

I had a really bad reaction to it—hives and swelling all over. I had to go to the ER. Scary stuff!
