I recently started using Miconazole Nitrate 2% cream to treat athlete's foot. It seems to be working, but I've noticed some redness and stinging at the application site. I'm wondering if this is normal or if I should be concerned. I've read the side effects, but I'm still a bit worried. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Also, does anyone know if it's safe to use this cream if you're pregnant? I've seen some conflicting information online. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

I've used this for jock itch and never had any issues. Just make sure you apply it correctly and follow the directions on the package.

I've used this cream before and had the same redness. It went away after a few days. Just keep an eye on it and if it gets worse, call your doctor.

I have a question, does anyone know if you can use this cream if you're breastfeeding?

Definitely talk to your doctor about using it while pregnant. Better safe than sorry!

Miconazole has worked wonders for me, but I've never had any severe side effects. Just the occasional mild itching.

I had a severe reaction to this cream once. It was terrible. Swelling, hives, the works. I had to go to the ER. If you experience anything like that, go to the hospital immediately.

I think it's important to remember that everyone's body reacts differently to medications. Just because it worked for someone else doesn't mean it will work the same way for you.

The stinging is probably normal but if it gets worse or you see other symptoms like blistering or peeling, then go see a doctor.

I've been using this for a month now and it's been great. Noticed some slight redness at first but it cleared up quickly.
