Milrinone Dw5 Inj, 200ml: What are the real side effects for this cardiac drug?
I was recently in the hospital and put on Milrinone (Milrinone Dw5 Inj, 200ml), but the nurses explained it so fast, I didn’t quite get all the details. The doc said it helps with my heart pumping, but I couldn't catch all the potential side effects. I saw that severe side effects can be fatal. Anyone have more infos? Have you taken Milrinone and what side effects have you experienced?

How long were you on Milrinone? I was on it for a couple of days and it really helped stabilize my condition before I went on a different med.
I've been working as a nurse for a long time, and I always tell my patients to report any kind of rash or swelling right away. It's not worth the risk.
I've been on Milrinone before, and while it did help my heart, I experienced some pretty bad headaches. Nothing dangerous, but it was a hassle. Make sure to keep an eye on your blood pressure too!
