I was recently prescribed Mirapex ER 3.75mg Tablets for my Parkinson's disease. I've been on it for a few weeks now, and while it seems to be helping with my symptoms, I've also experienced some side effects. I've noticed that the extended-release form has made a difference in managing my symptoms throughout the day, but I'm concerned about the potential for serious side effects. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I'd love to hear about your journey with this medication and any tips you might have for managing side effects. If you've experienced any serious side effects, please share what you did to address them.

I've had some issues with hallucinations. It's pretty freaky. Don't worry too much about it, just make sure to talk to your doctor. They can help adjust the dose or medication.

Keep an eye out for muscle stiffness; it can come on suddenly. I found stretching and light exercise helped. It's a bit annoying but manageable

Has anyone else noticed changes in their appetite or mood? I've been feeling a bit off and I'm not sure if it's the medication or just the stress of everything.

The side effects are tough, but the relief from symptoms is worth it. Just keep in close contact with your doctor and report any changes. The extended-release version definitely helps with maintaining a steady effect throughout the day.

Be careful with the dose increases; it can mess with your posture. I had to adjust my chair at work because I kept tilting to the side.

I had to switch to Mirapex ER from another medication because of severe dizziness. It's been a game-changer for my daily routine. Make sure to talk to your doctor about the dose to minimize side effects.

I've been on Mirapex ER for a while now and have had some issues with sudden sleepiness. I had to stop driving for a few months until it stabilized. It's scary to fall asleep without warning.

I've experienced no major issues, just some vivid dreams and a bit of constipation. Definitely a tradeoff, but worth it for the symptom relief.

I had some weird muscle spasms at first, but they went away after a few weeks. My doctor also prescribed some muscle relaxants to help in the meantime. It was a bit of a rough start, but it's much better now.
