I was prescribed Mirtazapine 30mg Oral Dsntgrt Tabs for my depression, which has been affecting my sleep and appetite. The doctor mentioned it might help restore the balance of certain natural substances in the brain, which I found hopeful. However, I'm curious if anyone else has experienced any of the listed side effects, especially the more severe ones, and how they managed them.

I've been dealing with a bit of dizziness and dry mouth, which isn't too bad, but I'm a bit worried about the potential for more serious issues. Has anyone dealt with serotonin syndrome or severe skin reactions? How did you recognize the symptoms and what steps did you take? Additionally, I'd love to hear if anyone has tips for managing the more common side effects like increased appetite and weight gain.

I'll also be interested to hear about how these tablets taste and feel when they dissolve in your mouth. Some of the reviews I read mentioned a bit of a strange flavor, but I haven't heard much about other sensations. Thanks in advance!

I only get these for when I'm traveling. They're a lifesaver but make you feel like you got a sleepy pill and a weird, metallic taste in your mouth. But honestly, it's a small price to pay when you have a panic attack in the middle of the night and the cheapest medicine you can get.

I've never had any issues with this med, but I did have an odd dream the other night. I was aware that it was a dream, and I was shouting at myself to wake up, but I couldn't. The dream was actually about a therapist, which I don't have, so it was kinda funny. These tablets are a bit odd.

I've been on Mirtazapine for about 6 months now. It took some time to get used to the taste, but it's not too bad. The dizziness was a bit of a problem at first, but it subsided after a couple of weeks. My appetite did increase, but I managed it by eating smaller, more frequent meals instead of three big ones. Oh, and don't forget to stay hydrated for the dry mouth!

Has anyone else noticed that mirtazapine helps them sleep better? I feel like I could sleep for 12 hours a night, which is both a blessing and a curse.

I had to switch to a different medication because of the side effects. I developed a rash and had a really hard time breathing. It was scary, and I never want to experience that again. I had to go to the ER, and they told me it was luckily not an allergic reaction. But I just wanted to say, be careful and trust your instincts if something feels wrong.
