I was recently prescribed Misoprostol 100mcg Tablets to protect my stomach lining from damage caused by NSAIDs. I've been taking them for a few weeks now, and I thought I'd share my experience and gather some insights from others who might have taken these. Misoprostol helps replace natural substances in the stomach that keep it healthy, which is great, but I've heard it can have some serious side effects, especially for women who are pregnant or could become pregnant. I've been lucky so far and haven't experienced any serious issues, but I've had some mild stomach cramps. I'm curious to know if anyone else has had similar experiences or if there are any tips for managing side effects. Also, I'm wondering if anyone knows about the risks and benefits in comparison to other similar medications. Any advice or stories would be greatly appreciated!

I can't believe some of the side effects listed. I would've had a really hard time finding a medication that worked. But Misoprostol seems to be doing the job for me.

Anyone else had issues with stomach cramps? I've been dealing with it for a bit now, and I'm not sure if it's from the medication or something else.

I had to stop taking this because of the cramps. They were unbearable, but everyone's different. Talk to your doctor—maybe they can adjust the dose or suggest something else.

I had diarrhea for a week when I started taking this. It was tough, but my doctor assured me it's a common side effect. Just make sure to keep your doctor in the loop and take it easy.
