I wish I had known about this sooner. I was dreading the constipation from my pain meds, but Movantik has made it so much more manageable. I'm finally sleeping through the night again!
I have found that Movantik helps but it's not a miracle cure. I still have to be mindful of my diet and hydration to see the best results. It's definitely better than the alternative I was on, though. Just make sure to stay on top of your doctor visits.
I did have a bad reaction the first week I took it. I ended up in the ER with severe stomach pain. It was scary, but thankfully, my doctor knew how to handle it. I'm so glad I didn't just tough it out. Talk to your doctor if you experience anything like that.
