Has anyone tried Steglatro 5mg Tablets for managing type 2 diabetes? I've been researching alternatives to my current medication and came across this one. It works by helping the kidneys remove more sugar through urine, which sounds promising. However, I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects, especially the rare but serious ones like kidney problems and increased risk of amputations. I'd love to hear from anyone who has firsthand experience with this medication. What was your experience like? Did you notice significant improvements in your blood sugar levels? How did you handle any side effects that came up? Also, what were your doctor's insights on this medication? Any advice on how to mitigate risks would be greatly appreciated. I'm particularly curious about the long-term effects and how it compares to other diabetes medications out there.

I've been on Steglatro for about 6 months and while it helped lower my blood sugar, I experienced some yeast infection and UTIs. I had to deal with this a few times but my doctor helped me manage it. Definitely something to keep an eye on, but overall, I think the benefits outweigh the side effects for me.

Someone have any insight on how Steglatro compares to Jardiance or Invokana? I've heard mixed things about all three.

I started Steglatro a few months ago and it's been a game-changer for my blood sugar levels. I haven't experienced any major side effects yet, but I'm careful about staying hydrated and monitoring my kidney function regularly. My doctor mentioned it can cause low blood sugar so I carry glucose tablets with me all the time. So far, so good! Fingers crossed it continues to work well.

I've been monitoring my urine output since I started taking this. It's important to make sure you're not dehydrated, as that can lead to some serious issues. So far, no major problems for me, though.

I wish more people talked about the mental impacts. I’ve had some mild mood swings and confusion since starting Steglatro. It's not too bad, but it's something to consider.

Be very cautious with this med. My wife had to stop taking it because of severe UTIs and kidney issues. She switched to something else and now feels much better.

I've been on Steglatro for a year now and honestly, it's been a lifesaver. My A1c levels have dropped significantly and I feel more energized throughout the day. I had a bit of an upset stomach at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Just make sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body.
