My 3 month old is supposed to take Rotateq Oral Vaccine Solution 2ml. Anyone else's child experience side effects?
My son is 3 months old and is scheduled for the Rotateq vaccine tomorrow, however I am worried about the side effects. The fact sheet is quite alraming and I want to hear about other parents' experience. Did your child react to the vaccine? These side effects seem pretty scary to me and I want to make sure my child is going to be okay. Any advice from parents who have already done this? Thanks!

I work in pediatrics and I can assure you that these severe side effects are really rare. You'll be fine, just keep an eye out and if your child seems really unwell, go straight to the ER.
I'm a pediatrician and I can tell you that the chances of side effects are slim. You're going to be just fine. Your child will be fine. Just keep an eye out for unusual symptoms and that's all you need to do.
Why is it so hard to find info on the longterm effects of vaccines? My kid got so sick after the rotavirus vaccine. Don't forget to report side effects to the VAERS system if you notice anything.
I had my kid take the Rotateq vaccine and everything went well. No major side effects, just a slight fever and fussy behavior.
So my kid got this vaccine and the only problem was a bit of a runny nose. Nothing major. I was worried at first, but it was fine.
