I've noticed some confusing things lately while my dad's been on this medication and he's been told to take a steroid as well, and I'm worried about how he's been feeling. Drugs don't scare me, but this is more than discomfort. I don't know if what I think I'm seeing is normal for Zytiga or if I need to be worried. Did anyone else have someone who took Zytiga and prednisone. But the drugs are really expensive, so even if this works, it's not a great solution. Does anyone have experience or tips or advice on how to handle this? I need to know what to look out for and the signs to call the doctor immediately.

This is not the drug you want to be taking if you're going to be lifting weights. I felt tired all the time, and it was hard to keep up my exercise routine. I am glad I did lots of research and talked to my doctor. Now I know what I have to do.

What you should know is that you can't tell if you're going to have serious side effects or not. The side effects are possible to happen: but they are not certain to happen. You don't want to wait until you have to call 911.

This has been helpful for me and informative. I am a nursing student and I can tell you the severity of the side effects of many of the drugs you can take for prostate cancer. Zytiga is no different, these are serious drugs for serious problems. This is why it is important for everyone to know the signs of atypical side effects.

I wish to see if these drugs cause hair loss. I didn't know what else to expect.

It's true, Zytiga can have serious side effects. I've had muscle pain and cramps, but my doctor said that's not uncommon. Just make sure to stay hydrated and call your doctor if the pain gets really bad.

I wish I'd known about these side effects before my dad started taking Zytiga. He's had so much trouble with fluid retention, and it's been scary. We had to take him to the hospital because he was having trouble breathing. Luckily, the doctor caught it in time, but it was really frightening.

My dad has been on Zytiga for about 6 months now, and he's had some trouble with diarrhea. It was pretty bad at first, but we managed it with a change in diet and some over-the-counter meds. It's not gone, but it's much more manageable.

You won't find cancer drugs that are easy to take. But I am happy if you can a good quality of life while still attacking the cancer. Also, you might have to talk to your doctor about taking some tests to see if you can take the medicine. This is to make sure that you can even take the medicine you need to take. Sadly, this is why some people don't get the right treatment. Taking this drug is an investment in your health, and for many people it's worth it.

If you're going to need this medication, you really need to be ready for everything. It's pricey, it has intense side effects, and it's not always 100% effective. But it's also a lifeline for a lot of people, and that's why I think it's important to be realistic with its cost and its benefits.
