I've recently been prescribed Celecoxib 50mg Capsules by my doctor for my arthritis. I'm curious about the potential side effects, especially the urgent ones, and how severe they can be. I am also wondering who has had a similar experience. Are there any long-term effects? What are the best practices to manage any potential side effects? I'm also considering other treatment options, but I want to understand Celecoxib better first.

I've noticed that some people have issues with bleeding when taking Celecoxib. It's scary to think about, but it's important to watch for bleeding gums, blood in urine, or even bloody vomit. If you experience any of these, get to a doctor immediately.

Be aware that Celecoxib can cause gastrointestinal issues like stomach pain and upset. I had to switch to a different time of day to take it to avoid this. If you experience these, talk to your doctor—they might have some tips. Also, avoid taking it with alcohol. Always consult a medical professional before making any changes to your medication routine.

I've heard that Celecoxib can cause high blood pressure. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you manage it?

I wish more people knew about the potential for serious skin reactions. If you see any blistering or peeling skin, don't wait—get medical help right away. It could be life-threatening.

I had a friend who had a really bad reaction to Celecoxib. She got a rash and had to go to the ER. Be careful and keep an eye out for any allergic reactions.

Remember, if you start feeling really tired or weak, or if you develop a fever, it could mean that you are having a reaction to the medicine. Don't ignore these symptoms because they could be serious.

Does anyone know if Celecoxib interacts with other medications? I'm on a few other meds, and I want to make sure there aren't any bad interactions.

Celecoxib is actually a selective COX-2 inhibitor, which means it targets inflammation specifically without affecting stomach lining as much as other NSAIDs. But it still can cause GI issues. Always take it with food to reduce the risk. Also, don't double dose! If you miss a dose, just take the next one at the regular time.

Has anyone experienced any of the more severe side effects like kidney problems or liver issues? I'm a bit worried about these.
