I was just prescribed Isoniazid 300mg Tablets to treat my TB. The doctor didn't give much information, so I'm a bit nervous. I know it's an antibiotic, but what are the common side effects? How do I handle them? I've also read about some serious side effects, like pancreatitis. Should I be worried about those? Also, can I take this medication with my regular multivitamin? Any advice or personal experiences are appreciated.

Isoniazid can interact with other medications, so be sure to discuss all your current medications with your doctor. As for the multivitamin, it should be fine, but always double-check with your healthcare provider.

I started feeling ill after taking it for a couple of weeks. I think it was because my stomach couldn't handle the pills. I had to go to the doctor and get some additional medication to help with the side effects. The good news is that my TB has been cured.

I had to take Isoniazid and it was awful. I felt fine until I started having mood swings and it was freaky. I switched to an alternative though.

Don't worry, just follow up with your doctor and take your meds as prescribed. This medication helps stop the growth of the bacteria that cause TB, so it's important to stick with it.

I've been taking Isoniazid for 6 months and the worst side effect I've had is nausea. The biggest problem is that I have to take several tablets. It's also important to note that you should avoid alcohol while on this medication.

I took Isoniazid for a while and didn't experience any side effects. But I know someone who had a really bad reaction. It's important to stay in close contact with your doctor and report any unusual symptoms. I switched to a different medication because of interactions with other meds.
