I've been struggling with insomnia for a while now, and my doctor recently prescribed me Trazodone 50mg to help with sleep. I've been on Trazodone for years, and it's never caused me any issues. If you're worried about side effects, maybe talk to your doctor about lowering the dose? It's always good to start low and go slow.
I tried Ambien first, but it made me feel really groggy the next day. Trazodone is much better for me in that regard. I still get some dizziness, but it's worth it for the sleep.
Trazodone is great, but if you're looking for something stronger, talk to your doctor. There are other options out there, like Rozerem or Lunesta.
I got really bad dry mouth from Trazodone. Like, I couldn't even speak because my mouth was so dry. It was awful. Lots of water helped, but it was still uncomfortable.
Trazodone worked great for me, but it didn't last! After a while, I built up a tolerance and it stopped working. Maybe it'll be different for you, though.
I've had insomnia for years and nothing seems to work. Maybe I should give Trazodone a shot. Thanks for sharing your experiences, everyone!
Be careful with Trazodone, it can cause some weird side effects. I got really bad constipation and it lasted for a long time. Also, I've heard some horror stories about prolonged erections, so keep an eye out for that!
