I've recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure, and my doctor prescribed Nebivolol 20mg. It seems to be working well so far, but I have some questions. How does it compare to other beta blockers like Lisinopril? What are the most common side effects you've experienced? Most of the side effects listed here seem rare, but it's still worrying to read about. Has anyone had to deal with something really serious? How did your doctor help you manage it?

Seriously, why are we talking about this kinda stuff. It really does suck to have to take medication for high blood pressure, especially when you look like you live in a gym

Be careful with this stuff. I switched to Nebivolol from my previous beta blocker, and I had some pretty bad dizziness for a while. My doctor said it was normal for some people when switching drugs, but it still sucked.

My doctor told me to report side effects to the FDA. I didn't know you could do that, but it's a good idea to keep an eye on things.

I had to stop taking Nebivolol because of this low blood sugar thing. I didn't even know it was a side effect, but I was shaking and felt absolutely awful. My doctor was surprised too, so yeah, definitely keep an eye out for that stuff. I'm on a different medication now and it's fine.

I took Nebivolol for a while, but it gave me more side effects than I could handle. I ended up switching to a different medication that works well for me. If you think the side effects are too much, talk to your doctor immediately, they'll help you out.

I am worried about the slow heartbeat. My doctor said if it's below 50 beats per minute it can be dangerous. I monitor my heartbeat to be safe.

Don't worry about the allergic reactions. I've been on this medication for over a year and haven't experienced anything close to those issues. Just make sure to take it as prescribed and you'll be fine.

Just a heads up, it seems like some side effects are more common with higher doses. I was on 10mg for a while and felt fine, but when I went up to 20mg, I started feeling pretty tired all the time. Might be worth talking to your doctor about titration if you experience side effects.

I've never had any problems with Nebivolol. I do get tired sometimes, but it's better than the alternative for me. Just be sure to follow the advice of your doctor and you'll be fine. I know people who had bad experiences, but it seems to work well for most people.

I've been on Nebivolol for a few years now, and it's been great for my hypertension. I get the occasional headache, but it's nothing I can't handle with some ibuprofen. Just make sure to monitor your blood pressure regularly and stay in touch with your doctor.
