I've been dealing with acid reflux for a while now, and my doctor recently prescribed Pantoprazole 40mg tablets to help manage the symptoms. I've read the possible side effects, which seem a bit scary, but I'm hoping to hear from others who have taken it. How did it work for you? Did you experience any of the side effects mentioned? I'm particularly concerned about the long-term effects and whether this medication can be stopped after a while. Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I stopped taking Pantoprazole after a few months and haven't had any issues since. Just make sure to talk to your doctor about stopping it. I read some stuff about rebound acid reflux, but I haven't had any problems so far.

I'm actually on Pantoprazole right now. I've had some mild stomach pain, but nothing too bad. Just taking it as prescribed and keeping an eye on things. I really hope my symptoms go away entirely soon.

I was on Pantoprazole for a few years and had no issues, but my doc told me to be careful with long-term use because it can mess with your vitamin B-12 levels. I didn’t have any symptoms but my doctor said I should take a B-12 supplement just to be safe. Best to keep in touch with your doctor.

I had a really bad reaction to Pantoprazole. Got a rash all over my body and had trouble breathing. Turns out I was having an allergic reaction. Had to go to the ER and get some meds. Docs said to never take it again. Definitely talk to your doctor if you notice any strange symptoms.
