I started taking Verapamil 40mg a few months ago to manage my high blood pressure and angina. I've noticed a significant improvement in my symptoms, but I've also experienced some side effects that I wasn't prepared for. Verapamil is known to help relax blood vessels and slow down your heart rate, which can be incredibly beneficial. However, it's essential to be aware of potential side effects and seek medical attention if needed. The urgent side effects are scary, from severe allergic reactions to liver problems. It's crucial to monitor your body closely when starting this medication. I’ve had mild headaches and constipation, but nothing too severe. I wanted to share my experience and hear from others who might have gone through similar situations. Have any of you had severe side effects, or has anyone been able to manage them effectively? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone else feel like they are constantly needing a nap? I could sleep all day…

I started taking Verapamil and felt a bit tired. My doctor told me it was because of the medication but it should pass after a few weeks. He was right! I feel fine now and have noticed my blood pressure is under control.

Be careful and aware. My friend experienced this and ended up in the hospital because they ignored the symptoms.

Verapamil is great for controlling my heart rate, but I’ve noticed I get dizzy if I stand up too fast. Anyone else have this issue?

I’ve been on Verapamil for years, and it's been a lifesaver for my angina. Just make sure to stay hydrated, as constipation can be a real issue.

I’ve been on Verapamil for a year now, and it’s been a game-changer for my heart rhythm. I still get occasional heart flashes, but they’re nowhere near what they used to be
