I recently switched to Toujeo Solostar Pen for my type 1 diabetes management and I'm curious to hear from others using this long-acting insulin. Tried it for three months now, and my blood sugar levels have been more stable than ever. I'm especially appreciative of the once-a-day injection regimen, which makes it easy to fit into daily life. I was initially nervous about potential side effects, but I've only experienced some mild irritation at the injection site and occasional back pain. These are minor compared to the benefits. Anyone else experiencing similar improvements or have tips for reducing irritation at the injection site?

Fab! This is my first time trying long-acting insulin and I'm nervous about injection sites. I've heard about the high blood pressure side effects. Has anyone experienced them?

My doctor recommended Toujeo Solostar and I'm glad I listened. My A1C levels have improved significantly and I've been feeling more energized. Just make sure to stay hydrated and watch for any signs of high blood pressure.

I take my shot right before bed and it keeps my sugar levels steady through the night. Haven't had any major issues and it’s made my diabetes management much simpler. Sometimes I get a mild headache, but it’s not enough to stop using it!

This insulin is a lifesaver. I inject in the morning and by noon, I know I'm good to go. It's been a huge relief to not worry about fluctuating levels like I did before. I wish more people knew how much it could help.

I've been on Toujeo Solostar for a year now. Initially, I had some skin irritation, but switching to a different injection site helped. It's a bit pricey, but worth it for the consistency in controlling my blood sugar. Just be vigilant about signs of infection, especially since we’re immunocompromised with diabetes. A slight sore throat or fever could escalate quickly.

Isn't it annoying how the pens can be so finicky sometimes? Make sure you store them properly, by the way. I've had a few pens get damaged because I didn't follow instructions closely enough.

It’s amazing how a small change can make such a big difference. I used to struggle with frequent blood sugar spikes, but since switching, it's a lot more manageable. Just wish it made some of those fruity flavors.

I've heard some horror stories about severe allergic reactions. Is it common and what are the signs? I don't want to end up in the ER.
