I was recently prescribed Adthyza 1.5gr (90mg) Tablets for my underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) and I wanted to share my experience so far. I've been on Adthyza for about 6 months now and the hair loss was really tough at first, but my doctor said it’s usually temporary. It’s been getting better, so I’m hopeful it’ll come back in time.
I think it’s important to note that everyone’s experience is different. What works for one person might not work for another. Always consult your doctor before making any changes to your medication.
I was really nervous about the potential side effects, but I haven’t experienced any serious ones so far. I’ve just had some mild irritability and nervousness, which I think is manageable. My energy levels have actually improved a lot, which is great!
I felt like I was having a heart attack when I started getting chest pain. It was terrifying, but it turned out to be a side effect of the medication. It’s important to talk to your doctor and stay vigilant.
I took Adthyza for a year before my doctor switched me to something else. It was okay, but I had serious digestive issues and constant diarrhea, which was a nightmare. So I’m glad I switched!
