I was diagnosed with severe anemia due to kidney disease a few years ago, and my doctor prescribed Aranesp 40mcg/ml Vl Albumin Free. This medication has been a lifesaver. It helped my body produce more red blood cells, and I've seen a significant improvement in my energy levels. I was initially worried about the side effects, especially the severe ones mentioned in the leaflet, but I haven't experienced any of those. I did have some stomach pain and a cough in the beginning, but they went away after a few days. I'm grateful for this medication and would recommend it to anyone in a similar situation. Just make sure you stay in close contact with your doctor and monitor your blood pressure regularly as increased blood pressure is one of the potential if rare, side effects.

I'm so glad to hear that Aranesp has been working for you! I was prescribed it after my cancer treatments, and it's been a godsend. I was scared at first, but the side effects were mostly mild for me too. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

I had a friend who ended up in the hospital with a blood clot after starting this med. Not saying it's common, but it can happen. Be careful out there!

Aranesp is the devil. It gave me the worst headaches and made me feel like I was going to pass out all the time. I had to stop taking it.

Just started Aranesp myself. My doc said the side effects are rare, but he still made me memorize that list about blood clots and strokes. I'm glad to hear it's helping others.

I'm on Aranesp and it's been great! No side effects here, just more energy and better moods. Let's hope it stays this way!

My aunt was on this med. She had to stop becuse she got a bad allergic reaction. I was really worried about side effects when my doc mentioned this to me but I think it's important to consider how much it helps people. Just keep an eye on those symptoms everyone!

I have a friend who is a hemotologist and said a lot of people get the side effects but that they are generally minor.

I had a stroke a couple of years ago, and my doctors are trying to manage my iron levels with Aranesp to help. They are not too concerned about the side effects because they seem to be pretty rare and I have been on it for six months and have had no issues.
