I've been using Atropine eye drops for a couple of weeks now to treat my child's lazy eye condition. They are prescribed to dilate the pupil and temporarily paralyze the focusing muscle of the eye to help improve vision. I've got some concerns about side-effects, though. Yeah, the dry mouth and throat are the worst. I had to keep sipping water constantly. And the blurred vision was really annoying. I've had side-effects with other medications, but this is one of the worst.
I've used Atropine Sulf 1% Oph Soln for my son's lazy eye treatment. The most challenging part was dealing with the blurred vision and light sensitivity. Make sure to have sunglasses handy!
